Plumbing and sewer repairs require trucks to carry the people and equipment to the residences and commercial buildings where the work will be performed. Jim and David Schuelke, owners of Schuelke Plumbing Inc., decided that going green was good for the environment and wanted to be part of the solution instead of the problem.
One by one, they are trading in all of their trucks for ones that will be biodiesel ready. Because biodiesel comes from renewable plant sources, everything is derived from domestically grown plants. This means less reliance on foreign oil and good news for the United States economy.
